Flat Iron Steak with Port Wine Reduction

Flat iron steak was only introduced to the market in the early 2000s but is so rich and tender, it has become quite popular. Your mouth will water with every delicious bite of this protein-rich steak, rubbed in a flavorful coffee and spice blend, then grilled to perfection and served with roasted Peewee potatoes, an excellent source of vitamin B6, herbed snow peas, and a savory but tangy, house-made port wine reduction sauce.

Remove the port wine reduction and keep to the side. Remove the steak & sides and place on a dinner plate. Cover the steak & sides with a damp paper towel. Heat in the microwave for 1 minute. Stir the potatoes & snow peas, then add the container of the port wine reduction with the lid removed and heat for 1 more minute. Test for temperature and if necessary heat for another 15 seconds until or hot. Serve with the port wine reduction.
